Famagusta offers a range of restaurants catering to all tastes and budgets. Inside the walled city you will find traditional Cypriot taverns, family restaurants serving authentic homemade dishes, kebab and meat restaurants, pizza and hamburger restaurants, cafés, bars, pubs and nightclubs.
Beaches of Famagusta
Only half an hour's walk from the walled city, you will find the public beach with its crystal clear waters and sandy beach.

Glapsides Beach is the longest beach in the area and is located only 4 km from Famagusta centre. Showers, sun loungers, water sports activities and kayaks. Very popular in the summer, music and disco in the evenings.

Flat sandy beach very close to the ruins of Salamis. Restaurant, beach cafe, showers, sun loungers and parasols. Also next to the beach you will find a public picnic area.

Koca Reis is a little beach just outside Famagusta. There is a small snack restaurant and it is quieter than the larger beaches.

Kaya Reis is a beach near Koca Reis, near Salamis. Sunloungers and parasols, restaurant.

Silver Beach about 5 km north out of Famagusta and has a long sandy beach. The remains of Ancient Salamis City are submerged under the water and can be seen while snorkelling.
